Located in the centre of Midhurst, the heart of the new South Downs National Park, The Church House is a luxurious B&B superbly situated for exploring West Sussex
The building was, for 25 years, home to a successful up-market restaurant until owners Fina and Jac Jurado converted the building (four small houses knocked together) into a guesthouse. Open the diminutive front door and a surprise is in store: an interior with the proportions of a grand home.
Staying at The Church House is a unique bed and breakfast experience. It offers the comfort of a luxury hotel with the relaxed attitude of a private house. The clever combination of four original cottages (dating back to the 13th Century) with a 21st Century ‘infill’ has created a wonderful home full of interesting period features, offset by fabulous polished oak floors and stunning French oak pillars.
There are magnificent beds, funky bathrooms, eclectic artwork and objects and an interesting selection of beautiful furniture.
The Church House can accommodate up to 12 people for family gatherings, weekend breaks, or parties as well as individuals looking for a relaxing overnight stay in this historical market town.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the huge oak table in the open plan living area, curl up on a comfortable sofa in front of a roaring fire in the living room or chill out in the conservatory with its huge widescreen television and catch up on the day’s sporting events. In warmer weather, catch some sun in the pretty Sussex garden… Fina will do everything she can to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
